Frankly some of the beliefs of some on this forum appear just as irrational to others as does this.

I'm not excusing these people and I think the society has done right by taking the rest of the children out of their custody but in effect you are judging another man's slave and none of you know what that slave's master may have told him.

How many were laughed at going to the stake because they would not fall into step. All those standing there thought they were crazy. They didn't have to deny God or anything of the sort they only had to agree to do what society thought was normal.

Again a bad analogy but one that comes to mind, every framer of the Declaration of Independence was considered a criminal. Had Britain won they would have all hanged.

Well Ed,

I had thought that YOUR beliefs were irrational but I was not going to say anything about it!

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

That is a good thing since scripture cautions us about judging another man's servant.

Macca
There have been many cases where people refused meds and were healed and later found out the meds would have killed them.
I don't know what these people were thinking. To me they are dead wrong. I can't and don't agree with them but I also know many on this forum hold to equally destructive beliefs. They claim God told them. I can't believe that but I also can't say God didn't tell them nor can you. That is all I am saying. I do not in any way condone what these people have done.
