Interesting is it not how some people just don't want this topic discussed?

If someone profits from Psycho Babble they would not want it discussed or exposed. Be my guess.

Ed, drop the stick and step away from the thread slowly and keep your hands where we can see them.

Interesting. Seems like someone doesn't want this subject discussed. I wonder why? NOT! :shocked!:

I think everyone can see that now! If not they simply don't want to see it.

Please explain, sounds kind of interesting..
Well the common Psycho Babble teaching is the positive confession. I can do anything. They like to do word plays off John 10:34-35 (NKJV)
34 Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, 'I said, "You are gods" '?
35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), and Psalm 82:6 (NKJV)
6 I said, "You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.

But they tend to forget the rest of the verse Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

When we present ourselves as something we are not we are fooling no one especially the adversary. However when we present ourselves humble before the Lord He has promised to lift us up. We don't need psycho babble we need to know were our strength comes from. When we are weak He is strong. It is not when when we pretend to be strong that we are strong.
I keep thinking of the song
Humble thy self in the sight of the Lord
Humble thy self in the sight of the Lord
And He will lift you up, And He will lift you up.
Higher and Higher and He will lift you up.

Jesus was a perfect example Humble in all things always the servant never exalting himself or denying something to instead have a positive confession.

This idea that we aren't something unless we confess it is nonsense. It is metaphysical in nature (nothing exists unless it is spoken into being).

God doesn't look at our failures or accomplishments God looks at our heart does it long after him or not.
In fact God says if we want success we should seek HIm first. Not our success, not our accomplishments, but simply seek Him and God not us will give us all that we need. We don't need to try to deceive ourselves we need to seek God.

The instant we let our guard down and start playing the game of the Psycho Babblers we have stopped seeking God.
Humble thy self in the sight of the Lord
Humble thy self in the sight of the Lord
And He will lift you up, And He will lift you up.
Higher and Higher and He will lift you up.
