Mark of the Beast???
I have a question concerning the mark of the Beast, will soul be put to death for not taking the mark or simply refusing to worship the Image of the Beast and the Antichrist himself? (Rev 13:14-17), i have been on debates concerning the Mark of the Beast, i was digging deep in revelation to find where souls will be put to death for refusing the mark. I found that refusing to worship the image of the Beast will result in death (Revelation 13:14-15) any input?
Re: Mark of the Beast???
Ewv. 13 says that anyone without the mark will be unable to buy or sell. I imagine it would only be a matter of time before those people starved.Charles wrote:I have a question concerning the mark of the Beast, will soul be put to death for not taking the mark or simply refusing to worship the Image of the Beast and the Antichrist himself? Re: Mark of the Beast???
Many nations on Earth will be able to buy and sell and yet not be killed for not taking the mark of the beast. The laws that men will not be able to buy and sell applies to the kindreds and tongues and nations that will be inside the ten kingdoms of the future that will be formed inside the Old Roman Empire.
Galatians 4: 16, Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

I just read something that says the people (Nations) who don't take the mark of the beast will escape being killed by the Anti-Christ. If you would like to read it for yourself, it can be found in Dakes "God's Plan for Man" on page 939, 2nd paragraph.
Also there is no Biblical inclination that the beast is a large animal, I really believe that the beast is a nation or a governed society in which the Anti-Christ is made to lead or govern over.

I have read that my friend. I have the book God's Plan for Man and have read it so many times the pages are getting so thin one can nearly see through them and I will soon have to buy another!1blessedman wrote:I just read something that says the people (Nations) who don't take the mark of the beast will escape being killed by the Anti-Christ. If you have the book, Dake's God's Plan for Man, go to and read pages 912 to 929, Lesson Forty Seven."Also there is no Biblical inclination that the beast is a large animal, I really believe that the beast is a nation or a governed society in which the Anti-Christ is made to lead or govern over."
Beginning in page 912;
The beast with Seven Heads And Ten Horns.
There are sixty historical prophetic facts given in Revelation concerning the beast which serve as fundamental truths, without which no true and complete understanding of the future beast with its seven heads and ten horns can be had.

Hey Ironman,
Sorry it has taken a minute to reply. But I did read what you suggested, and I found a couple of things that kinda validated my opinion. On page 915, sect.2; (Titled) The beast symbolizes 3 things. Then it names three things the beast is. 1. A human,
2. A supernatural being, and 3. an empire. Now if I'm looking at this wrong please show me, I am very teachable. On page 916, sections 1 and 2; both imply that the antichrist and the beast are persons "men" . My point is in the process of the tribulation, there are men and a social system at work and the players (anti-christ) and another person, who is now being held in chains, the beast. Trying to understand sysmbolism is very tricky, look forward to your reply.

Than the Antichrist is a man is clearly stated in Rev. 13:18.1blessedman wrote:Hey Ironman,

Revelation 13:18, "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a MAN; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."
As Dake wrote, the Beast spoken of here symbolizes 3 things. In sixty scriptural statements it teaches that the beast represents three things, a human being who is the beast out of the sea of humanity, a supernatural being who is the beast out of the Abyss and third, an empire which is the eighth kingdom of many peoples (Revelation 17:1, 3, 7, 9-11, 15).
According to Scripture, the beast out of the Abyss and the Antichrist will not be the same person. The Antichrist will simply be a mortal human being, a man who will be killed by Jesus Christ Himself at His coming (Revelation 19:20, see also Dan. 7:9-11; Isiah 11:4; 2 Thess. 2:8; 9.).
