"A woman's place is in the home, keeping the house, being a faithful wife, rising children and being faithful to God. If she is called to preach, then she must drop her pots and pans, and run with the message. The woman at the well left her waterpots and carried the message to win souls."
--W. V. Grant, "Putting Women in Their Place" (ca. 1960), p. 25-26.

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

I bought some old W. V. Grant books on healing a few years ago. I notice that there is a certain style to the writing of those old revivalist preachers that seems to be similar to one another.

Yeah most of their "smaller" books were just transcribed messages.

WV Grant wrote over 600 books, all about 30 pages long. But you do find some good stuff in his books and it really gives you an insight into the Healing move of the 1948 - 1958 era.

Yeah, it looked he dealt with every subject from smoking to drinking to .... EVERYTHING!!!!

I have several of those old healing revival books and you are right, it did help me to understand (for lack of a better term) the mindset of many of that movement. I even have books by some names I had never heard before in my life until a couple of years ago.

Aren't you the one that is always hollering about judging people by their looks!
Perhaps God considers her one of the most beautiful women He created.
Shame shame shame on you.

Kind of like saying a face only a mother could love. Oh and well I am not judging her salvation or spiritual maturity. And did God create her or her parents?. I know, thats bad joke.

Well, we are talking the fifties here. Not sure if Lana Turner or Elizabeth Taylor were available to pose for the cover

Certainly God does not look at the outward appearance but the heart. However, God is not the one buying the book. If you are trying to sell a book to an audience of people who look at the outward appearance, you either put someone on the cover that they will find visually appealing or simply just don't put a woman on the book.
