Mark 2:17, When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Physicians, doctors prescribe medication to day as they did in days gone by!
Luke was a physician, a doctor!
Coll. 4:14, Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.
Galatians 4: 16, Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

What ever is not of faith is sin (missing the mark)
If we take meds we better have faith that they will work.
If we don't take meds we better have faith that we don't need them based on the plain written word of God.

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

Re: Sin to take medication??
Now I posted this is another thread but it does relate t this as well. It is from a book that was in the bible up till the 1800s Even in the KJV.
Honor physicians for their services,
for the Lord created them;
for their gift of healing comes from the Most High,
and they are rewarded by the king.
The skill of physicians makes them distinguished,
and in the presence of the great they are admired.
The Lord created medicines out of the earth,
and the sensible will not despise them.
Was not water made sweet with a tree
in order that its power might be known?
And he gave skill to human beings
that he might be glorified in his marvelous works.
By them the physician heals and takes away pain;
the pharmacist makes a mixture from them.
God’s works will never be finished;
and from him health spreads over all the earth (Sirach 38:1-8)
Now I am not saying that it should have been left it there but the fact is most if not all Christians for over a 1000 years believed it was inspired including the early church.
