The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

Thanks for the "thumbs up" Pastor Bible.

I showed it to the congregation tonight (or is it officially now "last night"?) during our watchnight service and asked them for their honest critique (I don't want them to be embarrassed by me). They did not like the picture (they prefer me to wear glasses so that I can look more studious) and they HATED the background (blue was suggested).

So, gotta take another "selfie" with glasses and fix the background. No comments or compliments on the teaching part, But I guess that if they did not like my teaching/preaching then they would not be there so I'll take solace in that +wink

Might want to check your exposition of your foundation text, 1 john 2:14 it really doesn't say what you say it does.

Hi Ed,

1 John 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

What does it say that Troy missed?

I think his central message is right on... We already ARE what God says we are!

What did Troy say it said? Listen and you will answer your own question.

Hi Ed

Since you believe that I am of the devil and a false teacher (as indicated in other posts) you should now take the opportunity to prove this. Please show everyone where I have incorrectly expounded upon 1 John 2:14. Expose me for the devil and false teacher you say that I am.

Read the verse and listen to what you say it says. Do they match?

I thought your answer it would be something like this. Since you are unable to tell us where I have gone astray I will leave you to your ramblings.

Troy,

I have a feeling that if you posted a audio that said: "Open you Bibles to Matthew chapter 1."

Ed would have a problem with it.
