Well I made it! My wife and I went to see the Preacher who handles snake.

On Friday October 26th we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. My wife asked me what I wanted to do do I told her I wanted to go to the Tabernacle Church of God, in Lafollette TN, pastored by Andrew Hamblin, the snake handling preacher! At first she did NOT want to go, but finally (after I whined and cried and pouted for 2 weeks - (smile)) she changer her mind and said she would go!

So last Friday night 40 years to the night of our being married in a church we were in church again - this time with a few wonderful people who love God and of course a couple of snakes - a rattler and a copperhead!

It was a wonderful wedding anniversary celebration.

Andrew is a precious young man and the people of the church were sincere believers. It was a classic Pentecostal service that lasted about 3 hours and only about 5 minutes included snake handling. The message was on the grace of God taken from Exodus 33:17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

By the way Bibleman, on an unrelated topic, I went to preach at another church last Sunday and took a number of books with me. One of the books I sold was a "Bible Truths Unmasked" by Finis Dake. A couple of days later I was talking to the man that bought it and he told me that he was enjoying it but had never heard of Dake before. I began telling him about the Dake Bible and so I think that he'll be buying one soon.

No we will not be on TV. They were not filming that night.

And sadly National Geographic only did 16 shows and they will not be doing any more!

But we may have a new TV showing because...
