I don't know. Is she saying that the constitution was written by freemasons and that the founders never intended that the nation was to be under God? Supposedly the logan of the American revolution is "We have no king but Jesus".

I think she was acting on a lot of information that may or may not have been correct.
While I don't pretend to know what all the Masons believe I know my dad was a Mason for years. He loved God with all his heart and woulkd never violate that. When he joined a indepentant baptist church many years later he quite being a Mason. Not because of any problem I was ever aware of but because the church he attended was dead set against Masons.

As a teenager I belonged to the Demolay the youth branch of the Mason's I never never saw any problem between their teaching, beliefs, required promises or doctrines and Christianity.

We did 3 or 4 major charity projects a year had a couple social dances and meetings. The meetings from what I can remember were like every other social club meeting I ever attended. They did have a heavy emphasis on honesty, loyality, integrity, service, morals and Christ like behavior.

Their biggest interest was secrecy which I think they used to stir up interest in membership. I know I joined basically to find out what they did. On that line of thinking all I saw was them telling us to keep everything secret.

One thing I found in the Demolay was I could trust those in it. They were loyal to a fault and help in almost any way they could. However we all were still teenagers and girls were often very important in our lives. So if it came down to a helping a buddy or having a date with a pretty girl the girl usually won.

Was this God? I don't think so the problem is not with our Constitution but rather with how men interpret it today. God knows that and if this was of God that would have been the focus not a empty charge against the Masons.
