I've tried to understand where you're coming from- I really have. You have a combative spirit at enmity with God. Who, and WHY are you casting aspersions, against unnamed others, as if setting a machine gun to fire without control or aim? What, Sir, is your purpose?

I do not believe any here would doubt that, without God, life is pointless, and if He were not here, the Universe would not exist. He created it first, and then, for His Great Pleasure, made us, in His Image... What ARE you trying to say or establish?

No according to scripture God is in control but allows man to make his own decisions. Those decisions are often flesh driven and thus we have things like abortion, sin and all the rest of the mess that God allows us to bring upon ourselves.
God has also given us a whole book on how to avoid these things but man refuses to read it, believe and do it. Instead man likes to think of himself as God's equal and as such knowing a better way to accomplish and obtain what fleshly lust has convinced man he desires.

It is man's desire to be like God that makes man so willing to listen when someone says God has a body of a man standing 5' 10" tall with hands that span 18" and the rest of the nonsense. If man can think of God being a man then man has a chance to being like God and that feeds the Pride of Life and was one of three reason Eve ate the fruit in garden.

It is man's desire to control is own destiny the makes man so willing to deny God's control, if man control his own destiny then surely he can equal God in power of the future.

If is also man's desire to try to make God indebted to him, to owe him to be controlled by man to accomplish what man realizes he can control or do. If man can control God's power then he is really the decision maker, the God of this his own destiny.

So I can fully understand why you so want to deny God's control over His creation. You want people to believe God was able to create but unable to retain control of what He did create. If you can convince people of that it tickles the ear of man and they will come and listen to more.

Tell me if you really believe God does not have control then why do you pray to God? Do you imagine in your mind that God may have a trick or two left that He can pull off in answer to your prayer or what? If I believed God was as powerless as you apparently believe Him to be I would see no reason to pray to Him or to serve Him. Perhaps that is where you are, and you aren't serving God but rather serving you own needs of making a living off of telling people God lost control and can do nothing but watch what takes place here on earth.

The God I worship, the God I serve, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of the Bible is in control. And that God has repeatedly told man to stop following the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and pride of life and start following the leading of the His Holy Spirit.

OK so man makes his own decisions - so God is NOT in control of man's decisions according to you.

I think we are in agreement then that Man is in control of his own decisions and that part of man - God is NOT in control of. Right?
