Gen. 1:1, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.[ God created the heaven and the earth out of nothing.]Ironman wrote:God created the heavens and the Earth,
God made man. God originally created the heavens and the Earth from nothing. God made man from the dust of the ground, already existing material. Not hearing any disagreement from Ed yet?
Exodus 20:11, For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
When God re-created the Earth to make it habitable for man God IN SIX DAYS THE LORD MADEheaven and earth. the sea, and all that is in them.
[God made them from already previously created material.] God virtually rebuilt everything to the way it originally was when He created it out of nothing. After He turned the mountains upside down, flooded the earth and turned off the sun moon and stars from shining upon the earth because of Lucifers rebellion, God was able to simply restore everything to its original condition.
Think about this. If it took God six days to re- create / restore the Earth, how long do you think it would have taken God to originally create all the billions of galaxies, stars, moons, planets and the earth out of nothing?
It says in Gen. 1: 26, And God said, Let us MAKE MAN in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
God said let us make man because God used the dust of the ground to make him. God never created man, God made man!
