The word "replenish" is neither a clue nor a smoking gun pointing to a pre adamite earth.
So you do NOT believe that Noah "replenished" the earth?

Didn't say that. I said the word translated "replenish" was never translated as "replenish" anywhere but in the KJV Bible.
And no Noah did not replenish the world, he simply returned to the original task of filling the world, which had not be completed before Noah.

Hi Ed, that's not entirely true:
Bishops bible 1568
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God sayde vnto them: be fruitefull, & multiplie, and replenish the earth, & subdue it, and haue dominion of the fisshe of the sea, and foule of the ayre, & of euery lyuing thing that moueth vpon the earth.

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God sayd vnto them: Growe and increace and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and haue dominion of the fish of the see, and foule of the aire: and of euery lyuing thyng that moueth vpon the earth.

I mentioned the fact that Noah was also told by God to replenish the Earth as was Adam and Eve, to no avail.

Here's an important point non-believers in a pre-Adamite world are missing. Lucifer ruled the Earth, Coll. 1: 16, "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"

When God established Adam upon the re-created Earth there were no thrones, there were no dominions or powers or principalities, there was only Adam and Eve, alone in the Garden, with God visiting them.

How do we know Lucifer fell long before he entered Adams domain? As all ways Scripture tells us plainly and clearly.

Isaiah 14:12, "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"

Lucifer sinned, Eze. 28:14, "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15, Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee."

He was cut down to the ground which did weaken the NATIONS! Which nations were on the Earth in Adams day if lucifer sinned just prior to tempting Eve into sin? There were no nations in Adams day. There was only Adam and Eve. There were no principalities, no powers, no dominions on the re-created Earth when God placed Adam on the Earth to rule it. Why do non believers in a pre- Adamite world think Lucifer sinned and wanted to gain control, regain the rule of the Earth? Because he lost everything he had, he lost rule of the Earth when he sinned and God destroyed everything Lucifer had! nations, dominions, powers, principalities, anything and everything Lucifer was given by God to rule and look after was taken from him.

Also, neither Ray or Justaned has had an attempt at explaining the vast differences of the two floods which occurred on the Earth, Why, because if they did it would clearly show that the genesis flood did occur and they would either have to believe it did occur, or disbelieve the Bible.

Rev. 12:4 tells us that Lucifer drew one third of God's angels with him in his rebellion in invading Heaven.
There are definite contrasts between the flood of Lucifer Gen. 1:2, and the flood of Noah. The two floods are completely different floods and they happened at different times. The first, Lucifers flood was the flood on the earth "That then was." Noah's flood was the flood on the earth "That now is."

Calling Lucifers flood L.F. and calling Noah's flood N.F. we can see scripturally that they are two different floods.

L.F. Earth made waste (Gen. 1:2; Jer. 4:23-26; 2 Pet. 3:5-6).

L.F. No man left on earth in Gen. 1:2 ; Jer. 4:23-26 ; 2 Pet. 3:5-6).
N.F. Eight men and women left after Noah's flood (Gen. 6:18 ; 8:15-22 ; 9:1-16 ; 1 Pet. 3:20).

N.F. An ark made to save men and animals alive (Gen. 6:8-8 : 22 ; 9:1-16 ; Heb. 11:7).

N.F. Cause: wickedness of men (Gen. 6:5-13) ; and fallen angels (Gen. 6:1-4; Jude 6-7 ; 2 Pet. 2:4).

L.F. Result: became necessary to make new life on earth (Gen. 1:3-2 : 25 ; Isa. 45:18 ; Eph. 3:11).
N.F. Results: no new creation made, for all men and animals were not destroyed (Gen. 6:18-8 : 22 ; 9:1-16).

I don't know why I said that because as you proved there are some Bibles that do use the word replenish. My bad.

What I meant to say is of the more popular reliable Bibles in common usage most use the word fill. As does every interlinear that I have checked. Why the KJV and this handful of others did I can not say.

While I do disagree with the phrase "popular reliable Bibles" It is true that other version say "fill and subdue" But I believe the word replenish seems to be more accurate. I do believe the pre-admite world is very possible and very likely, and personally I believe it to have evidence in the bible. However, I do agree with you that this word is not the smoking gun for the pre adamite world unless one believes that the word replenish is accurate. But in the versions I listed it cant be denied that the same wording is used to Noah after the flood. But, the Hebrew word for replenish is "male" and it is used 240 times in the old and the English words used for this is translated: to fill, fulfill, replenish, filled, full, satisfied, consecrate, to set, took, space, complete, Thats why I believe it cannot be a smoking gun.

Lets forget the word REPLENISH which God told to Adam and Eve and Noah, and see how ALL these dozens of scriptures can possibly tie in together and be speaking only about the flood of Noah?

Calling one flood Lucifers flood( L.F.) and calling another flood Noah's flood (N.F.) we can see scripturally that they were two different floods. How do you explain the differences between all these Scriptures describing these floods without rubbing out at least half of these Scriptures, the ones you do not understand, the ones which do not align themselves with your understanding or disbelief in what they are teaching, depending upon weather you believe there was only one flood, or two totally different floods with totally different consequences and end results?

N.F. Results: no new creation made, for all men and animals were not destroyed (Gen. 6:18-8 : 22 ; 9:1-16).

All the evidence you offer proves the earth was covered with mixture of land and water and God had to set apart the water from the land. That does not prove there was a earth before this. Only that God brought all the elements of the earth and heavens together at first and then had to set them in order.

Remember for something to live there had to be a source of energy (sun) and that did not exist until the fourth day. Without a sun plants could not photosynthesis light into food.

Also a flood on earth would not wipe out the sun yet genesis tells us God created that on the fourth day. So the whole universe would have to have been recreated. If the universe was recreated the earth would have to have been recreated also.

I don't think this planet or any planet could have gone through the gravitational stresses that had to occur if the universe was wiped out (at least the sun) then recreated again.

.

Justaned, God can turn the lights off from upon the Earth any time He wants to, just as easily as you and I turn off our lights in our home any time we choose! God turned the mountains upside down, that's why I have seen fossils, a mile deep in and under SOLID ROCK, in the rock and in the coal, sea shells on mountain tops??? God destroyed the Earth and all life therein, AND GOD TURNED OFF THE SUN MOON AND STARS FROM SHINING UPON THE EARTH!

Read these and weep mate!
" Lucifers Flood 1. The Earth was made totally dark (Gen. 1:2-5 ; Jer. 4:23-26).
Noahs Flood 2. The Earth was not made totally dark (Gen. 8:6-22)

Lucifers Flood. There was No light from heaven (Gen. 1:2 ; Jer. 4:23-26).
Noahs Flood. There was Light from heaven (Gen. 8:6-22).

Lucifers Flood. There was No day and night (Gen. 1:2-5).
Noahs Flood. There remained Day and night (Gen. 8:1-22)."

Galatians 4: 16, Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
