Re: The science of sin
And so will everyone born of the devil.
Thanks be to God, though, as He has made a way to crucify a former sinner and raise him up "to walk in newness of life". (Rom 6:4)
The "seed" determines the fruit.
The "seed" cannot change from whence it is born.
Your insistence that those born of God's seed can suddenly quit being of that seed is...junk science.

Re: The science of sin
You fellows glorify sin.You deify it.
Why not praise the Lord Jesus Christ for His divine blood's sanctifying power!!!
Or talk about the Baptism/Infilling of the Holy Ghost ???Or the delivering ,Healing Christ???
IF YOU GLORY YOU BETTER GLORY IN THE LORD..NOT IN SELF OR THE FLESH.
You have it backwards.
Repentance is towards God ,Faith is towards our Lord Jesus Christ.
We did not save ourselves .Jesus did.
HE gets all the praise glory and honor.
Glorying in self is carnality and not holiness.

Not sure I would call what Jesus taught, junk science, but that would be between you and what He taught. What I believe about it is unimportant and irrelevant.Hill Top wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 1:58 pmAnd so will everyone born of the devil.

Healed of what?Or talk about the Baptism/Infilling of the Holy Ghost ???Or the delivering ,Healing Christ???
Sin.
Amen to that.IF YOU GLORY YOU BETTER GLORY IN THE LORD..NOT IN SELF OR THE FLESH.
And from sin.You have it backwards.
Repentance is towards God ,
Our Lord that said the truth would free us from committing sin. (John 8:32-34)Faith is towards our Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen to that.We did not save ourselves .Jesus did.

Thanks be to God for the ability to crucify the old man of carnality and sin.Glorying in self is carnality and not holiness.

Glorify sin? Deify sin? Really? I cannot understand why you would make such a statement, but I suppose you have a reason behind doing so.
If a man doesn't understand sin, how will he stand against sin? A man that does not know what a poison spear is will not be able to raise a shield to prevent it. (Eph 6:10-18)

Re: The science of sin
NO ONE on here is saying believers should sin or engage in wrongdoing.
Saying that they cannot sin is not Scriptural.
Believers in both testaments sinned. Some times severely.David had Uriah killed and took his wife.
Peter denied the Lord 3 times. He was rebuked to his face by Paul.
Simon in Acts 8 sinned and Peter told him to repent and pray.
Believers who took the Lord's Supper unworthily got sick and even died.
Paul delivered the Corinthian fornicator to Satan for the destruction of the flesh that his spirit might be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. The man later repented.
Your theology is flawed.

Understand sin?? What a cop out. I knew right from wrong at age 4 or even younger.luchnia wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 7:15 amGlorify sin? Deify sin? Really? I cannot understand why you would make such a statement, but I suppose you have a reason behind doing so.
