Hi!
In GPFM Dr. Dake affirm that God did turn the earth upside down when He cursed the first sin carrer on Lucifer's kingdom.
Anybody can point to me where in the scripture can we find something to validate this affirmation?

'' God completely destroys Lucifer's kingdom on earth, and curses the earth by destroing every bird,animal, fish, city, inhabitant, and all vegetation. He then turn the earth upside down and by means of a great flood, makes it empty and waste.''

Genesis 1:2

That there was a great catastrophe that came upon the pre–Adamite world is clear from many Scriptures as well as from facts of geology, botany, and other sciences. Scientists assert that the Earth went through just one great catastrophe at an unknown period in the past; that animal remains show that they died in great agony; and that some unexplainable something happened to the Earth itself to cause it to be turned upside down.

In the Ferrar Fenton translation, Gen. 1:2 reads, “the earth was [became] unorganized and empty; and darkness covered its convulsed surface; while the breath of God rocked the surface of the waters.”

This shows the Earth went through a period of convulsions, spasms, eruptions, earthquakes, and a great cataclysm that destroyed all animal and vegetable life on Earth.

I can see that there was a great catastrophy but where does it say that the earth was litteraly turned upside down and that the north pole whent south while the south pole whent up?

I'm not saying that to argue but just to make sure i can back this affirmation with my bible.

I don't think they are saying there was a pole shift - maybe flipping the crust of the earth - like flipping an egg would be a better way of understanding it. taking the top layer of the earth and flipping it over like and omelet.

This makes sense it would also explain why the remains of the old world system are so scarce in between.

That's why sea shells and other marine fossils are found on mountain tops, and I have seen fossilised trees, leaves and other types of plants 100's of feet under ground, in coal seams under solid rock in underground mines.

We have a coal mine like that in America as well.
