I was watching the program The Message of The Cross this morning.

The panel was getting on the ultra hyper false grace people about not confessing their sins.

What do you guys think of this Message of the Cross taught at JSM??

Oh Jimmy Swaggart. I don't listen to Swaggart. I think I read somewhere that he is still crying and having beg-a-thons. Amazing people still support that guy. Is the message of the cross a TV show or something he does?

After a light reading through it I noticed Swaggart is big time OSAS. The empty tomb might be a good place for his focus instead of only the cross. It is often that you see OSAS folks justifying sin in more ways that one and making the statement that they just aren't living in God's victory but still saved. For OSASers salvation is simply not an issue for one who commits sin.

His OSAS statement and his blaming his sin on his ignorance of the message of the cross" - "Oh yes, one can definitely be Saved without knowing how to properly live for the Lord, but one most definitely cannot walk in victory without knowing how to live for God. If one does not understand the message of the Cross, even as it was given to the Apostle Paul, then simply put, such a believer does not know how to live for God."

Here he is muffed about not getting more support for his sin against God from the non-true Christians and thinks they should be reprimanded - “When a person is down, and can do nothing to defend himself, and anyone can do any negative thing to him they so desire, and will not only not be reprimanded, but rather applauded, then one finds out just how many true Christians there really are. Tragically, there aren’t many!”

It is my hope that Swaggart has repented from the heart and forsaken sin and come back to God, but from his words it seems he never left God even in his sin.

It is unreal to me that Brother Swaggart ministered to untold multitudes of people.So many were saved and even Spirit Filled.

Yet he gets kicked in the teeth by so many.Christians are to pray for brothers and sisters who fall .Not condemn them.

My late Pastor got badmouthed by the religionists of the area.

By the people with NO ministry and NO fruits.And NO power with God.

The last thing on earth some folks will do is look at themselves.And question themselves about their religion.They got everyone else pegged.

Paul opposed Peter to his face, and others who taught bad doctrine. Galatians 2:11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

We love brother Swaggart but his doctrine should be in align with the Word of God and if not then opposed.
