Re: How has the hyper grace movement been so accepted??
I think this came so popular because of the desire of men to live the way they want to and still feel accepted with God.branham1965 wrote:Reverend Dake called this the Ultra Grace movement almost 70 years ago.

People want to commit all kinds of sins (like adultery, homosexuals, liars, greed, etc.) and still feel accepted with God.
People want to NEVER go to church and still feel accepted with God.
People want to NEVER pay their tithes and still feel accepted with God.
People want to NEVER lift their hand to help anyone but themselves and still feel accepted with God.
People want to NEVER be part of the Gospel program and still feel accepted with God.
The ULTRA-grace teaching allows men and women to commit all manner of sin and still say they are alright. It is nothing more than the old time Baptist once saved always saved doctrine - the Reformed teaching of the Presbyterian Church - the message of the Cross by the Swaggarts - radical grace by Creflo Dollar and so many others.
This verse and Dake's notes on it explain it very well.
2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (KJV)
Sadly the day of holiness and right living, being faithful to God and the Church of Jesus Christ, has been forsaken by so many.Six Last-Day Characteristics
1. They will not endure sound doctrine (2Tim. 4:3).
2. They will increase in lusts and sin (2Tim. 4:3).
3. They will add one teacher to another, or wander about from church to church to find those who will not insist on their getting rid of sins and sinful pleasures (2Tim. 4:3).
4. They will having itching ears, desire speakers who will tickle their ears and excuse their passions in the name of religion.
5. They will turn away their ears from truth which strips them of sin and demands their wholehearted consecration to Christ (2Tim. 4:4).
6. They will turn to fables and false religions that pamper the flesh and condone sin.

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

You should write a book on this subject Pastor Bible.
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge :but fools despise wisdom and instruction" Proverbs 1:7.
