MacArthur is immune to any kind of criticism. It doesn't faze him, even when people who agree with his teaching try to advise him.

I lost all respect for him when he publicly lied about the ministry of another pastor in his area as a way of promoting his "strange fire" conference. Not only did he have the facts wrong about this other pastor, but he publicly is on record endorsing the man's ministry before he died. Once he died, MacArthur did a flip-flop and used this man's ministry to introduce his anti-Holy Spirit conference.

People familiar with his denomination know that he falsified his statement of beliefs in order to remain in that denomination for years.
