READ ABOUT IT.HE DID.

HE DID.AND HE DID GREATER THINGS THAN THAT BY THE POWER OF THE LIVING CHRIST.

I TOLD FOLKS YEARS AGO HE WAS THE TOP MINISTER IN THE VOICE OF HEALING WITH HIS FRIEND ORAL ROBERTS .....
Yes and Branham taught that the catholic church was the WHORE OF REVELATION.

Do you deny that?
10 For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies.
11 Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.
12 The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.”
I agree Ed,

The Lord does turn his face against the catholic church.

I am glad to see you have a change of heart.

YES amen!

It took a while but your eyes finally came open to the evils of the catholic church.
1 Peter 3:11 (GW)
11 They must turn away from evil and do good. They must seek peace and pursue it.
Glad to see you quoting Scripture now instead of your Communist heros.

Bibleman you are a joy and you sure do take scripture to heart. For your information that quote about Marx and Engle was not a quote by them but it was quote made by someone else about the weaknesses seen in those two men. And even though your comment seems to be trying to stir something up I know that you Love God and are really all about PEACE Making and Keeping the PEACE.
Blessings to you my brother may God not be blinded by the appearance of your words but instead I pray God sees the heart that strives for Peace.

1 Peter 3:8-12 (GW)
8 Finally, everyone must live in harmony, be sympathetic, love each other, have compassion, and be humble.
9 Don't pay people back with evil for the evil they do to you, or ridicule those who ridicule you. Instead, bless them, because you were called to inherit a blessing.
10 “People who want to live a full life and enjoy good days must keep their tongues from saying evil things, and their lips from speaking deceitful things.
11 They must turn away from evil and do good. They must seek peace and pursue it.
12 The Lord's eyes are on those who do what he approves. His ears hear their prayer. The Lord confronts those who do evil.”

What a gracious comment Ed!

You are so kind and your Christian demeanor is refreshing.

Thank you for taking the time to post such a wonderful response.

I am sure that I and others will take it to heart and consider it in the wonderful Christian light that you have given it in.

Excuse me please all this niceness is about to make me throw up!

I don't understand the focus on the RCC, truly I don't. They aren't for me, but then a lot of Protestant churches are for me either. Has the RCC been caught in a spiritual act of adultery? I think so, but a very famous person once said to a crowd gathered around a woman caught in that very act: "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone."

Perhaps instead of directing the effort at why the RCC is wrong/bad/the whore of Babylon/etc, the effort should be used to clean out your church and hold it up as a shining example of what a church should be. Perhaps if "your church" was doing a better job some of those RCC folks would show up. But then you'd have to clean them up, so you really don't want that to happen do you?

Hmm Brother Even the Bible came against false teachings and teachers, John Called gnostic "Christians" anti-Christs, Paul called Christian Judaizers "Brute beast", and Jesus called the Pharisees "Vipers". And no I don't believe the catholic church is the whore of Babylon, however it did whore itself out to pagan rituals and beliefs. The RCC hits close to home for some of us that where raised in it or around it and knows about it, this is a dangerous religion I have immediate family that are brained washed by this religion...

I think a lot that has been contributed to pagan rituals in the Catholic church actually had their beginning in the Judaism.
I related this story before but i will tell it again. The Pope was in the US and I was channel surfing I came across a program where the Pope was involved. What caught my eye was so many of the men there were wearing skull caps, I thought to myself these all must be bishops and cardinals since I'm use to seeing them when they take their various hats off.
I'm not expert on Catholicism but I have been in more than a few masses and have going to a number of Catholic funerals and weddings. I saw a man walking around with a Golden pot with smoke and figured it was the censor. The had a altar in back about where the Holy of holies is in a Catholic church. Another man was bowing and praying and looked to be sprinkling water. So it all fitted to what I remembered as being a Catholic mass.

However I found what I was watching was a weekly service in a Jewish Synagogue of which the Pope was visiting. Now I don't how different the Jew did this service over their norm but to me it looked to be a carbon copy of the Catholic service I have witnessed.

Research showed that in fact the Catholics did retain certain Jewish rituals and incorporated them into their mass.

Now I don't what pagan ritual you were thinking of in particular but I wonder was it pagan or a carry over from Judaism.
