As I tell my wife, I admit that I have issues. Not sure if a "tender ego" is one of them but is possible. I do admit that I can go overboard in much of my "clowning around" and I am working on that part.

Too late, and I am regretting it

Actually my wife is great. She can be brutally honest sometimes but she seems to always affirm me and compliment me often. It is only when she sees my ego swelling too much is when she decides she has to stick some pins in there to deflate it a little.

But half the time I think that something was original with me I find out later that someone said it before I did, that I probably got it from reading their book or listening to their preaching, but didn't remember who.
