Did Peter lose his salvation when he cursed and denied the Lord Jesus -- yes or no?
God bless

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

Who among us can answer a that question only God can answer? We can say it was not expected behavior of a person that says they love Christ but it is not possible for any of us to answer that question now is it?
The fact Jesus knew of Peter's future behavior and even told Peter what he would do both in this incident and in the future of the new Church makes it seem like Peter's salvation was never really in question.

Well actually I don't have an opinion about it one way or the other.
Here are the FACTS from Jesus own mouth!
Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
God bless

Hi!
I think that :
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Does'nt mean that someone under pressure in a moment of weakness or under torture for example loose his salvation. I see it like sinning and practicing sin. Some one who continualy deny Christ is not the same as someone that fail under extreme circumstances.
I don't know what i would do if a bunch of soldier treatened me to drive a knitting pin from an ear to the other of my baby girl. i know there is a special grace in such a moment but would i lose my salvation under such a circumstance if i failed? I dont think so. What would you do?

What makes you think Peter was "saved" to begin with? Did he believe in Jesus or did it seem like a good idea at the time and it wasn't until he was under pressure that he had to make a decision, which at that point he denied Jesus and then in circumspection decided that he had made a totally wrong choice.
Again Jesus knew exactly what Peter would do but Jesus also knew that Peter was going to be used to establish the Church of Jesus Christ. So you are making massive assumptions of which you have no real knowledge.

Matthew 16:16 (KJV)
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
This confession coincides with 1st John 5:1. Also, Jesus states in verse 19 that he would give Peter and all believers the keys to the Kingdom.
Obviously Peter was in good standing with God according to John 15:3 (KJV) Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
But then Peter denies Christ. According to Jesus this can't be done without eternal ramifications. Matthew 10:33 (KJV) But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Jesus stated he needed to turn back again.
Luke 22:32
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Very clear what happened to Peter.

Matthew 16:17 (KJV)
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Notice as well that in this verse Jesus changes his name which means in the Aramaic - fragment or piece of a rock.
