The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

Interesting.
When I read about Gideon I see God's ability to take almost nothing and use it to secure a mighty victory. I see Gideon as a proven coward, defeatist and unbeliever being used by God to prove it is not by man's might but God's might that God can and will secure the victory.

God then took this man and reduced his army down to impossible odds again to show it was not man's ability but God's that would defeat the enemy of God.

Gideon's army is shown to be so cowardly, fearful and doubting that God had to let them hear the defeatist talk in the enemies camp before Gideon's army would even stand and watch God give them the victory.

Yeah this is a good message on man overcoming Satan. God had to do everything except chain them to a rock so they could stand and see God's mighty power overcome the evil in their land.

The story of Gideon is all about what God was able to do with little or nothing.

Interesting how we can interpret scripture I see this is glorifying God others apparently see it as Gods help to glorify man.

THanks for your comments Ed. Perhaps you can help me improve on this teaching by showing me exactly where I have glorified man instead of God. Can you help me by pointing out any specific statements in which I have done this. I would really like to know so that I can acknowledge and repent of doing such.

Makes part 3 easier to access so that Ed can much more easily critique me .

I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything. We obviously approach our relationship with God from two different perspectives, especially our positions in Christ.
From our last tit for tat it is also obvious you are not interested in considering my comments so I will not waste either one of our time with further comment. Have a Jesus Filled Day

I accept your humble apology Ed. I am glad that you have repented for insinuating that I am glorifying man in this teaching and have realized that you have no proof that I have done so. Truly it takes a humble man to repent of such a degrading false accusation. So thanks Ed

I don't think I said that but if it strokes you tender ego to think that I did, then praise God anything to make you happy.
