Remember in today's idea of church if you wait long enough you will hear theology you can agree with as it is constantly changing as preachers will preach almost anything in an attempt to attract crowds.

i think that Its gotten into Rhema!!!!!!!!! i tell you that hurts me so very much....
Dad Hagin was ...he never would have allowed that there.

Billy, it appears to me that Dr. Brown is a good egg. I read his articles on Charisma from time to time and he seems to have his finger on the pulse of false doctrine. He addresses them with a good attitude as well.

it "started" in the 1900's in England.

Mr.O'hair and Mr.Stam were its big advocates here in the USA.
it shows up -in forms in Mr.Bullinger's Companion Bible.

I guess the book of James and the sermon on the mount was just kidding with us. Thousands flock to this teaching because it does not require anything of the believer. Its an itchy ears kind of teaching if you know what I a mean. And you are right Billy, Joseph Prince does believe that the book of 1 John is not written to Christians but to Gnostics according to his book that I read a couple of years ago. What Prince does not realize is that 1 John was written to Christians about Gnostic heresies.....

It actually started much early than that. I was just simply referring to this new version of it. Antinomianism has been around since Paul's day, he addressed it in Romans 6:1-2 and other places as well. John addressed in his Epistle 1John, Because I believe it stems from Gnosticism. And Yes Dake would own this theology lol. He does address this false teaching in GPFM. He laid the Smack down on it :silly:
