Sound more like Ultra Grace
I will agree that while Once Saved Always Saved often share the same boat with the ultra grace adherents, I must say there is a difference.
One is based on the psycho babble idea that people need more self esteem therefore their sinful behavior must be rationalized or marginalized .
The other believes true Christians don't commit intentional sin and unintentional sin is already under the blood of the Lamb.

I don't think I have ever committed an unintentional sin! Have I?
In Heaven on "quote - unquote" judgement day... will there be 2 lines one for sins committed on purpose and another line for (Oh did I do that! - in urckle voice).

If you are avidly into E. W. Kenyon (who was a Free-Will Baptist), as most Faith Teachers are, then you may have the tendency to become OSAS. I was OSAS for a little while back in the late 80s due to reading Kenyon heavily until one day God quickened James 1:12-14 into my spirit and told me that sin, when conceived, leads to DEATH! He reminded me that this is separation from Him that is eternal.bibleman wrote:Does this sound like once saved always saved to you?

He never told me to reject Kenyon but I knew to reject at least this part of his teachings (like I had to do with his view on tongues being a "crutch"). I have been thoroughly blessed by Kenyon's writings and still read them, but I rejected his OSAS a long time ago. I imagine just by the language that Pastor Dollar uses in the quote above that he has borrowed much from Kenyon.

Thanks Billy. I don't listen to Joseph Prince so I would not recognize his teaching. I do know that Kenyon often spoke about the recreated spirit. While Kenyon's teachings have helped me immensely I had to reject his OSAS. Not sure how deep into OSAS Prince is but he does seem to be very influential these days.

Re: Does this sound like once saved always saved to you?
I am not sure but there definitely seems to be some flirtation here. I do believe in obeying the conditions of the gospel. But what kind of behavior is he talking about? IF you snap at your wife or getting hateful with someone? Or is he talking about committing adultery Going out and getting drunk, stealing something etc? I will say I do get a check in spirit when I read his statements here, I mean read the book of James.bibleman wrote:Does this sound like once saved always saved to you?

Re: Does this sound like once saved always saved to you?
hey thank you there Pastor.
its strange i just started in the last ...year listening to him and he sounds very good.i feel better afterwards.but im not used to that.
but ive come from ultra fire and brimstone churches.if i didnt walkout ready to commit hari kari i didnt feel right.
i think he gets off on is ...well that sin is not imputed to us.he is osas.but his hero was Dad Hagin who was not osas.Reverend Dake covers that in 1950.its odd how nothing is new.
but he seems like a great young man.he said you dont have to agree with me...we can still be brothers ..

How about this verse?
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
So your identity in Christ IS altered by our behavior.
God bless
