[Ironman]

He's a big boy and can look after himself. He believes tatts are ok and we shouldnt judge people who have tatts. I differ and have shown why! I'm not about to cry and leave because of it?

Remember Humour is the cornerstone of Australian society. Sadly most Yanks dont have any and those that do, (not Rocky), often stoop to gutter level. Australian humor is used to show appreciation or contempt of a person. I'm not perfect so I will have a little whine! I do have several issues I am not happy with here, but I'm not tempted to leave because of them? Rocky gives the green light to tatts, I dont, he had his say, I did, you guys want to pack your bluies and leave, thats the soft girly option! I'm not going!

Lets return to our favorite pastime - complaining - when we can ignore all others ailments and sink into the sticky slime of our own aliments. Oh, the luxury of venting our judgments and airing our troubles, and on a Bible discussion board!! What can one do when someone incessantly complains to us about something we cannot do anything to change? If something can be changed, work to change it. If it cannot, why worry, be upset, and complain? We need to remember this when the urge arises to complain.

So now you are saying it is not ok to judge someone by their appearance and how they dress? You have spent the last several pages of this thread telling us how normal and ok it is to judge someone by the clothes they wear.

You remind me of a church I once knew of in a small town I lived in. Two teenage girls decided to go to church, but they were not wearing nice dresses, they were wearing jeans (oh my God!!! Not jeans on a woman!!!). One of the ushers stopped them at the door, told them to go home, clean themselves up, then they can come back to church. Well, they left, but they instead went drinking and partying. Afterall, the church didn't want them (even though one of the great hymns is "Just As I Am", right?). They died that night in an automobile accident. Not long after that, the church completely fell apart.

I personally feel that this "old school holiness" is one of the major contributing factors in the decline of Christianity. When the Church is more focused on keeping the sinner out of "their" church (because of the sinners sin), instead of reaching out to the those sinners...well, no wonder the sinners will continue to go to the bars instead of to the churches.

You all realize that Jesus did not come to condemn the world, right? If He didn't come to condemn the world, but rather to save it...what gives you the right (old school holiness or whatever you choose to say to justify your stupid judgemental position) to condemn. It is not your right to condemn, but rather to love. It isn't even your job to convict of sin. That is the Holy Spirit's work, not yours. You want to continue to judge someone because you don't like the way they dress...fine. Keep on judging...but know this, the same judgement that you judge with, you too will be judged by. Take those words as they are...

The Church, for too long, has been walking around condemning everything and everyone under the sun...except themselves. And that, according to the Bible, is the wrong way of being the Body of Christ.

Matthe 7:1-5

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Actually it was Rocky that brought it down on himself. The thread was started talking about Vampires, Witches and Werewolves and why all the sudden attention to them should not bother Christians.

Rocky started bemoaning the fact that people treat him oddly just because he dresses for a reaction. Ironman and myself have been explaining that if you dress for a reaction you should not be surprised if you get a reaction.

Jesus loves sinners, drug addicts, porn stars... yes he does. However, what's your point? Just because he loves them doesn't mean their isn't a requirement to change. They will die and go to Hell unless they repent of their sin and receive forgiveness. When they get saved, they will no longer be a drug addict, porn star...

Oh the last pic I just like. I agree with your point and understand your reaction to it. How dare I post this lol. The picture is meant to say something about the self righteousness of people. Not that he loves the actions, but the people. You see I believe without Jesus we are in the same boat as the people mentioned in the pic, even the oh so Holy ministers who sometimes forgets were their righteousness comes from lol. The church nowadays wants to throw people away. That is why I believe the church has no voice now days, I mean look at this thread the haters have come out.

I have said I will repeat once more. If you dress for reaction you will get a reaction why does that surprise you?

I have clearly stated that my initial reaction would be aversion however unless the person refused I would try to get into a relationship with them.

No Rocky you brought it up look at the third post on page 1. I tried to stop it by apologizing to you if I had offended you Post #8 but you kept it going.

You say I hate and I say I don't. Now what. I say you dress for reaction and you say you don't.

Interestingly as my three year old grandson came in to see what I was doing and saw the video of you in the last post and ran screaming from the room saying pappy is looking at scarey people. KIDDING!!!!!!!!!
