I watched Brother Swaggart's Wednesday night service.He is teaching on eschatology.

He was discussing the rapture.then he said something about ....his very dear friend Finis Jennings Dake.

He said a few Preachers were trying to fuss with Dr.Dake Brother Swaggart called him that.he then said that he was the greatest Bible scholar....an extraordinary Bible scholar...he said how foolish these men were to fuss with Finis Jennings Dake.

ill tell you tears filled my eyes.i was so thrilled to hear Brother Swaggart honor God's servant and Anointed scholar.

i got so excited.it made me so very happy.
he said he was the ultimate Bible scholar or something like that.he talked him up like i do.
he said the one fellow arguing with Reverend Dake got so shook up he lost his sanctification.it was funny.

i could tell Brother Swaggart really loved Reverend Dake....glory to God.

In fact in the later days of Dake's life, Swaggart was confronted on plagiarism issues on the book Revelation Expounded in the 1980's.

Then again in the days of Swaggart doing his most recent commentaries there had to be a law suit to settle the issue again just a few years ago. That is why Swaggart had to come out with two editions and printings of his commentaries.

Did Swaggart love Dake, I don't think so.

Swaggart's book on Revelation was given to me about ten plus years ago. As I was reading through it, I noticed the wording was familiar to me. I checked it with Dake's writings and sure enough - it was word for word. I do know that he used the Dake Bible early in his ministry. I have a friend who was on staff at the Swaggart ministry in the 80s and plagiarism was a constant threat to other people's materials.

HE SOLD MORE DAKE BIBLES THAN ANYONE EVER THOUGHT OF. I BOUGHT REVEREND SCOTTS BURGUNDY GENUINE LEATHER FROM BROTHER SWAGGART IN THE MID 80'S.

I have to agree with Justaned, Billy. They have mouths, like any other creature, but they are, possibly, not the masters thereof... Is Jimmy Swaggart, or any other huckster or false teacher or false prophet, saved? The Precious Holy Bible does not say so, as regards the teaching found in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, but the "out," is found in 1 Corinthians 6:11. The line that such creatures walk, is so tenuous, so ephemeral, that one should not even contemplate such a course of action... No man knows the day, hour, or moment of impending death. Once that point is reached, it's too late. Game over.

Dangerous, is the practice of mocking God- The Father, The Son, or The Holy Spirit. That is what hucksters, false teachers, and false prophets do... To that list, one must not forget corrupt preachers and pastors, for they too, lead many astray, and pray upon the weak and unsuspecting...

No, my Brothers and Sisters in The Lord, Jesus Christ, by Whom we were purchased with a precious price, cannot, will not, abide by such as these...
