Who are you watching on Christian tv Rocky???

theres a bunch out of the Deep South =in Louisiana saying only they are preaching the truth and everyone else is off.
I don't watch non of them any more. I use to, until they all started to be about money. Most of the todays word of faith movement is pimping the gospel out with underhanded manipulation for money. I know you have heard it "sow a 1000 dollar seed and God will bless you". I know they are some good out there in tv land, but not many. Oh, who is the bunch in Louisiana?

you are totally mistaken to judge all TV ministers as no good.
the folks in Louisiana =Jimmy Swaggart and his family are good people.have won many souls for the Lord.
but they think they are the only ones who are right now.that was not always so.
MANY TV Preachers are good.some are not so good.some are buzzards.

dolph wrote:Dake makes a good case for confessing every sin after you sin but says you actually lose your salvation each time you sin until you confess it and then you are born again each time you confess your sins. So, according to Dake a Christian can be born again several times a day!!!!!!!

Les Feldick makes an excellent case that Peter, James and John were part of the Jerusalem Christians that weren't up to par with Paul's gospel. The Jerusalem believers only believed that Jesus was the promised Messiah and in water baptism and knew little or nothing of how Christ paid for our sins and the other 9 mysteries God revealed to Paul.

Andrew Wommack teaches that there is no need for a Christian to confess each time he sins, that he is a new creation sitting in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and only if a person deliberately refutes Christ will he lose his salvation, that the average Christian is too bound up in the law and feels too guilty of sin to expect anything from God in answered prayer. At the same time he doesn't condone sin and teaches there are consequences to sin.

Hebrews 6 and hebrew 10 both say if you lose your salvation it is impossible to regain it. Which to me tends to agree with what you said Andrew Wommach teaches.

I agree not all are bad. And as far as Jimmy, I would rather watch paint dry lol. But Frances and Friends I watch sometimes for entertainment purposes only. But we are to judge theology and those of the faith who claim to be teachers, even Paul spoke harshly of false teachers, John called false teachers anti Christs, and the only individuals that Jesus came against were the religious people not the sinner. The bible only gives prohibition in judging the unbeliever. I use to be into Swaggart, but yeah he thinks his theology is the only right theology. And he also claims that all music is demonic accept for southern Gospel, and is kJV only. And that is just the minor issues with him. when you dig deep in his cross theology you will find it has no basis in scripture.
