Mr Weymouth has shortened 72 hours + to one day.
Jesus never lied about anything but man sure does.
If the bible goes against Church doctrine these dudes will call God a liar so they can keep their beliefs.

Yeah, that is very common.

It is so hard to understand why that people simply have a set of ideas they will cling to regardless of what the Bible plainly states.

But it has been happening for years now, and I don't expect it to change until Jesus comes back!

On the early New Testament days - they were even rewriting Paul's letters and trying to stick in false doctrine that way!

2 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

Saying, "Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise.'

Here we have the witness of those that Killed Jesus repeating what Jesus had said (many times) that he will rise from the dead AFTER three days.

The people of Jesus' day heard Jesus say 3 days and 3 nights and we have millions running around saying the bible is wrong and Jesus lied for we have been told by the church leaders that He died on Friday.

Christians Must study the Word of God for themselves.
