The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

Apparently you are confusing Orthodox and orthodoxIronman wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 10:59 pmIn the Orthodox church tradition, eggs are a symbol of new life. Early Christians used eggs to symbolize the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the regeneration of believers. At Easter, eggs are dyed red to represent the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross for the redemption of all men. Easter eggs come from some kind of springtime pagan fertility practice not from the Word of God.Grandfather wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 10:28 pmI am puzzeled. I’m unclear as to what you mean when you say “eternal sonship” — are you saying there was a time when the Logos was not with the Father? Or perhaps that there was a time when God was not a trinity? Or are you objecting to the idea that the human nature of Jesus always was prior to his birth? Or are your rejecting idea that the Lord Jesus Christ remains human after in asscention?bibleman wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 11:53 pmYes the eternal sonship myth.Grandfather wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 10:28 pmI am puzzeled. Jesus became the Son of God at his conception not before.
Therefore He was not God's Son for eternity past.

So, how to you relate to those that simply mislabel or mis-speak in their use of words to describing the pre-incarnate Christ?macca wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 11:50 amGrandfather wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 10:12 amDid the Logos exist seperate from the Father before the earthly conception?

I just recognize that not everybody calls things by the right words and some people are just ignorant to true Biblical understanding. For them... I treat them like normal and enjoy the relationship.
For those who are into the orthodox teaching, I recognize their ignorance to true Biblical understating. And if they want the truth I will share it with them... if they want to argue then they can stay in their ignorance.... Either way I still treat them like normal and enjoy the relationship.
God bless

I believe there are many things about God that are difficult to express in words. Sometimes people use the wrong wording because they lack the vocabulary to express it any other way.bibleman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 12:31 pm I'm not Macca but as for me...

Then, sadly, there is that group that want to believe what they believe because that is what they want to believe. I will gladly fellowship with them to the point where their dogma forces me to do otherwise.
