Never saw anything in the Bible about being slain in the spirit. When someone is slain they are usually executed or murdered, etc. There are verses about being filled with the Spirit.

I have heard of people rolling around on the floor, cackling like chickens, barking like dogs, and all sorts of insane nonsense and trying to attribute such things to God. Amazing what people will do to get attention to themselves.

People believe different things. I know a number of people that have to have the "flesh" experience week after week and claim it is of God and that the Spirit is doing something to them, yet they never know exactly what the Spirit is doing and somehow they cannot control it. They are emotionally up one moment and down the next and constantly seeking that "flesh" experience.

I would propose a number of questions in this area. Why do we need to buy into something that we cannot find in God's word? If Jesus, nor the disciples, nor other people of God in the bible did not fall on the floor slain, roll around, and act like animals, why is it that we need to do it?

Why not just let animals act like animals? What would be our gain to have this experience in the flesh and how does it bring glory to God?

For me, I never rolled or trembled on the ground to receive the Spirit.

Fruit of the holy spirit has self control in it.. I wonder how these people lost control and tremble and round in floor by losing control

There are excesses, fanaticism and wild fire.

Reverend Kenneth E.Hagin said he would put up with a little wild fire as opposed to having no fire at all.
His minibook " Why do people fall under the Power?" explains this very well.
