Friends of my late mother are Mormons with the son in law being a high up their ladder leader in America. I knew him personally when he lived here in Aus.

My opinion of them, on what I know of them and especially of him, is this. We all know how large hangers that house Boing 747's are. Well, the Holy Spirit can open these hanger doors wide as they will open, and not one of them will walk through, because they are stuborn, thick muel headed individuals who just refuse to obey God. They believe they know better than God Himself. They follow their leaders like an ox goeth to the slaughter, like a fool to the correction of the stocks.

Titus213 nailed exactly what I needed, when he said the following:

"What about those that died before The Flood, and after Jesus rose to Heaven? Is not Paradise full of those who have not heard the Gospel of Christ?"

They were saved by faith; faith in the promise of God that a coming seed of the woman would crush the serpent's head (Genesis 3.15). As God unfolded that initial promise in successive generations, to Noah and then to Abraham, David, etc. salvation came as people "believed the LORD, and the LORD reckoned it to them as righteousness" (Genesis 15.6). How did those promises get communicated to non-Jewish people? Well, just as the Church is expected to be today, Israel was expected to be a light to other nations shining the truth and reality of her God to all her neighbors. After all, the blessing given to Abraham was to include "all the families of the earth" (Genesis 12.3).

So yes, there were many who did not hear the gospel as Jesus and his disciples declared it -- that the Kingdom had actually arrived with the coming of the King in human flesh. But they heard the gospel as God had revealed it in the pre-arrival days; as Paul could write, "And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, declared the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “All the Gentiles shall be blessed in you.” (Galatians 3.8).

I am also reminded of how Paul addressed pagan cultures in his day. For example, to the Athenian intellectuals he announced "The God who made the world and everything in it, he who is Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in shrines made by human hands, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mortals life and breath and all things. From one ancestor he made all nations to inhabit the whole earth, and he allotted the times of their existence and the boundaries of the places where they would live, so that they would search for God and perhaps grope for him and find him—though indeed he is not far from each one of us." (Acts 17.24-27). It has always been the case that those who seek the Lord with all their heart will find him. He doesn't want any to perish, but all to come to repentance.

I've already marked these in, for the specific purpose of reaching the Heathen, in my DARB and NASB/Amplified Parallel Bibles. I'll do this with all my Bibles, and make-up tracts, as time goes by, when there are enough Scriptures that meet the needs of spreading the Gospel message to those in need...

I cannot adequately express my gratitude for your aid. God's Love, Mercy, and Grace, are all we have, to offer to a jaded, unbelieving, and distrustful world. That we seek not for ourselves, is to our benefit, for we only desire to serve God. If the world sees us in this light, their ability to refuse God's desire for their Salvation weakens...

Please continue to look for ways to chip against their armor, that the things of this world, will, grow dim, and that the light and life only found through Christ Jesus, will shine through, leading them to Eternal Life...

May God Richly Bless You and Yours. May an impenetrable hedge of God's Holy Fire, and His Perfect, Holy Angels, surround and protect You, and that which is Yours, and may You always have the Peace of God, upon, within, and around, You. Amen.

"Confess with your mouth, that 'Jesus is Lord,' believing in your heart that God raised Him from the Dead, and you will be saved, for with the heart, man believes and is justified, and with his profession of faith, he is saved." Romans 10:9-10.
