What an interesting discussion. Especially about the origins of Demons me personally, I believe that the book of Enoch sheds light on this:
But now the giants who are born from the [union of] the spirits and the flesh shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, because their dwelling shall be upon the earth and inside the earth. Evil spirits have come out of their bodies. Because from the day that they were created from the sons of God they became Watchers: their first origin is the spiritual foundation. They will become evil upon the earth and shall be called evil spirits. The dwelling of the spiritual beings of heaven is heaven; but the dwelling of the spirits of the earth, which are born upon the earth, is in the earth. (1 Enoch 15:8-10)

I know I know, the book of Enoch is not in the bible, but early Christian did read it, Jude quotes from it, 2nd peter alludes to it.

My late Pastor use to say often that demons were disembodied spirits seeking to inhabit our bodies.

he used the Dake Bible in his studies.

Thanks Billy. I use the large print easy to read, Dake Bible you graciously and generously gifted and sent to me, every day.

Because of you, I wonder how many young souls are learning about God truthfully, as Dake expounded it?

Because of your generosity my mate, I was able to give my small print Dake bible, which was getting harder for me to read, to a lovely young lady I met, she's the recptionist at the hospital. We were having a conversation one afternoon as I was waiting at the front desk, and we were conversing about how many are sick and suffering when I, without thinking just blurted out that God had healed my wife of cancer! She immediately responded with, I love God and believe in Him! and she went on to tell me she holds bible study classes for children in her city of Maitland, NSW. I asked her during our conversation if she had ever heard of Finus Jennings Dake? No she said. I asked her if she would like a Dake Bible to have a look at? Yes was her answer. I then the next day made a special trip back to the hospital and gave her my small print Dake Bible. In fantastic condition, I treasured it and looked after it well, still in the box, receipt and all, when and where I purchased it.

Weeks later We met again at the hospital and she said she had been reading the Dake Bible and notes I gave her and she was most impressed with it.

When do you want it back? can I finish reading it she asked? I told her it was a gift and I did not expect her to give it back. She was overjoyed billy, and all thanks to you mate! Because of your generosity in sending me a large print Bible, I was able to give her my normal print Bible, and now, this wonderful young married woman is studying the Dake bible and passing her new found understanding on to the many children she has in her classes every week! She also travels up north when ever she can and is spreading God's Word to many young minds. Praise God for people like her, and people as generous as you mate!

Galatians 4: 16, Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
