James Kennedy for his attacks on this great servant of God, to the leaders of the Brownsville revival, and finally he should offer to give everyone their money back for that piece of garbage he wrote called "Christianity in Crisis" and its later piece of toilet refuse, "Christianity in Crisis: 21st Century".

But won't get into a fight with you about it Ed because I don't want to make you cry again, so you can have your say after this and I will try to hold my piece.
Hey Troy,

Why don't you tell us what you really think! (big smile)

Hanegraaf and MacArthur are both in the same boat. Two people who try to make their ministry by tearing down others.

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

As I said I'm not a fan Hill and I'm not fan of MacArthur nor Hanegraaff. I respect MacArthur's scholarship on most subjects, his teaching on most subjects, and his church leadership. As for Hanegraaff I believe he has a calling to be an apologist as such he does a respectable job.

Haven't read it yet so there is no way I can make a judgement on it. I can read the reviews on it but if they are from people that liked the book they will say it is great likewise if reveiw/critique is done by people that don't like the book they will say it is terrible. I think we should make up our own minds.

Since I already disagree with MacArthur's view of Pentecostalism reading about what he calls strange fire does not really interest me.

I am full aware of the strange fire that is sweeping American Christianity. The fact that critical thinking is rarely used by most American Christians as is the God given gift of discernment, I don't see how any thinking person can deny there is strange fire in many of the churches today.
