I have to agree with Justaned, Billy. They have mouths, like any other creature, but they are, possibly, not the masters thereof... Is Jimmy Swaggart, or any other huckster or false teacher or false prophet, saved? The Precious Holy Bible does not say so, as regards the teaching found in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, but the "out," is found in 1 Corinthians 6:11. The line that such creatures walk, is so tenuous, so ephemeral, that one should not even contemplate such a course of action... No man knows the day, hour, or moment of impending death. Once that point is reached, it's too late. Game over.

Dangerous, is the practice of mocking God- The Father, The Son, or The Holy Spirit. That is what hucksters, false teachers, and false prophets do... To that list, one must not forget corrupt preachers and pastors, for they too, lead many astray, and pray upon the weak and unsuspecting...

No, my Brothers and Sisters in The Lord, Jesus Christ, by Whom we were purchased with a precious price, cannot, will not, abide by such as these...

Does anyone really care what Swaggart says or does? The man has been openly displayed to be up to his neck in sin.
Can he be saved? Yes if he repents and gets saved. Does he have the good reputation that scripture says is necessary to be a Bishop of the church? No.

I fail to understand why the church is so willing to be lead or taught by people with questionable morals, when there are so many that haven't fallen into sin that are willing to lead and teach. Is it spirituality or celebrity worship?

So how did Swaggart loose his salvation?

I don't think we was saved before it was revealed that he was up to his neck in sin. He may of thought he was saved but I think he was in deception. What he got caught up in wasn't a one time thing it was deliberate, planned and thought out. He set out to sin and sin he did. That does not sound like a Christian to me does it to you?

It sounds like a Christian who backslid and lost his salvation.

Well it is quite evident you don't hold to 2 cor 5:17 very dearly. I read it as saying we become new creations as new creations of God I don't think we act like the sin tainted fallen creations that were birthed in garden.
While we are imperfect and we do stumble and fall new creations do not plan deliberate sin to throw in the Father face.
I think your opinion of New Creations is lower than mine. You think as carnal man and not spiritual man. A spiritual man seeks to serve God. Oh wait I think I see the problem you think God existence is to serve man. Okay now I know wher the problem is.

yes i have heard him disagree with holiness sinless perfection people on his program.
thats his right.they brag they are sinless everyone and his brother who knows him or her knows other wise....give me a break.he shows him respect.i never saw him lampoon him.never.
