In Hebrews 1:6; But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says:

The KJV says 'firstbegotten'

To me this change of word makes a huge difference to the meaning of the passage to the point of destroying Paul's meaning completely. Very bad translation.

What is the difference between "firstborn" and "firstbegotten"?

And, even if there is a difference, what standard do you use to determine which English word is correct?

If you're siding with the KJV because it is the KJV, then there's no point in arguing which word is correct, if the KJV is your final authority?

Can you show why these words are not interchangeable ?

Sorry everyone, it looks like I have lost my marbles.
I am on some heavy medication for a badly damaged c6-c7 spine, the migraines are a daily torment and the meds effect my speach, thinking and balance.
So I will not post any more while ever this problem persist.
