Does your scenario for growth apply more of Jesus' cleansing blood to us ?
Where does the Bible say that one is sanctified ONLY through Christ's blood?
I don't think that sort of verse exists.
Do you have another means of sanctification in mind ?
Heb 10:29..."Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"
We are also sanctified by our own actions.

"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." 2 Corinthians 7:1

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

That is indeed one perspective of sanctification, but what is our part ?
Belief, repentance from sin, and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of past sins.
All together, they entail our atonement, consecration, setting apart, and make us holy.

Those things should have been handled at repentance from sin.
