Where did Luke get all the personal information from in the beginning of his Gospel?

I was thinking that Luke had contact with John and Jesus's mother whom John was looking after and that could explain the depth of personal history recorded by Luke in his Gospel.
????

The first 2 chapters of Luke for instance are very precise in their telling by Luke who was not there , but Mary was and the bible states that she did not understand all that was said or happened but she kept it in her heart, so she could have related all this information to Luke.
Plus the fact that the Apostle John was there as well with his wealth of experiences with Jesus's 3 plus years of ministry.

Luke probably learned it from all of them who were in Christ.
A little here, and a little there...

His brothers also had that early knowledge concerning Jesus.

I will stick with Luke getting the exact information he needed for his Gospel and his history of the early Church of Jesus Christ.
Mary's memories were first hand, as was the Apostle John's.

What is your concern about Mary ?

John's knowledge of Jesus' birth ere not first hand.
What is your concern about Mary ?
No concern, really.
I'm sure she could have filled in the blanks of Jesus' back-story.
I just don't want to make some big deal about it.
If it goes too far, it becomes Mary worship; which is idolatry.
