How well do you understand the King James Version?
Take the quiz:

Acts 10:34-36 New Living Translation
Then Peter replied, "I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right. This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel—that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all."

I took the online version of the quiz. And, despite utilizing the KJV as my main translation for over 40 years, I only scored 80% correct. And, that's even with the amount of study that I've done beyond what a typical Bible reader would do. Some of it devoted to whether or not the KJV is the best or even the perfect version of the Bible.

I definitely do not understand the KJV as well as I thought I did. And, the test results definitely cause me to doubt the ability of the average person from my generation or later being able to truly understand the KJV.
