Romans, 7;
John Macarthur teaches Romans chapter 7 is the description of a born again Christian.
Is he correct?
Is he correct?

Re: Romans, 7;
Paul said it like this: Romans 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
So of course this is NOT the description of a Born Again Christian.
This is the description of a Born Again Christian:
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
I would put no confidence in the teachings of Macarthur. He has shown himself to be a man that is opposed to the workings of the Holy Spirit.
God bless

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

I would need more information on his understanding of this passage than the simple and brief statement you have provided.

OK Grandfather I will post the whole video in the morning.
Re: Romans, 7;
Parts of it are.
Other parts are recollections of his life prior to conversion and still in the "flesh".

Re: Romans, 7;
I have come to the understand the reasoning why osas people believe , Romans. chapter 7 describes a Christian's experience .
Because they believe they are saved forever they can sin all they like and get away with it, just like Catholics who are not born again believe.
The Baptist have the same belief system, those who among them are not born again.
The new creature in Christ Jesus finds sin abhorrent and their spirit is soft towards God and will not do anything to hurt his saviour's trust in them.
Romans. Chapter 8. Is the born again Spirit filled experience for anyone that is in Christ Jesus.
