I believe this is part of the falling away that happens just before the end of the Church age.

Yes it is!
How so?
This time has arrived:

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

That's been going on for quite a while, I think.

Yes, sadly it has. But I don't know of a time when it has been more evident than it is today.

Why do you think that is?
People have more access to the Bible in more understandable translations/versions than ever before.
Yet, there's very little unity around what beliefs are true and what beliefs are false.
And, no single person or church seems to have a real say as to who's right about what. If someone says someone is wrong, they are generally ignored or worse.

Like the Bible says, "there must be heresies among you that they which are approved may be made manifest among you."

But, who decides who's approved is up to question.

I do believe its the flesh that causes jealousy and divisions in the body of Christ.
Some feel superior because they have deeper revelations (so-called) into the word of God.
Just think if Paul did not have that messenger of Satan to buffet him what would have been the outcome of his ministry and the New Testament?
I think Paul sums it up quite well in Galations. 6:7-8;
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

I think the problem is the deception of the devil.

I think the approval comes from what aligns with the Bible itself.

I think part of it might be the deception of the devil. But, since he is not omnipotent, I don't think giving him sole credit for causing the problem is warranted. Partially, yes. But, not universally.

As to approval coming from alignment with the Bible, itself... That's a tricky answer as different groups believe the Bible means different things and, therefore, see those that disagree with them as disagreement with the Bible, regardless of whether or not their position or the position that they oppose agrees with the BIble, itself.

Who else would you say is responsible for the problem?

The fact that different groups think the Bible means different things... does not change the clear meaning of Scripture itself.
We can't yield to the idea the the Bible means different things to different groups. If people disagree with the Bible then of course they are wrong.

I'd lean towards Adam being responsible. See Romans 5:12-21.

Regarding "the clear meaning of Scripture..."
Each group thinks the others are in disagreement with the Bible, so of course, the other groups are wrong.

Ok, what do you say to a pentacostal faith teacher who openly stated on TV .
On the subject of being God's.
He opened his bible at Philippines 2: and read verses 5 &6
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God.
And shut his bible and arrogantly said ' there it is' or something to that effect.

Total destruction of the word of God that Paul was showing the humility that Jesus went through as an example to all Christians to follow.

V7. But made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in the appearance as a man, He HUMBLED Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the Cross.

If it is the devil behind this the man gave Satan entry through his flesh.
