Psalm 83
Could what is going on in Israel and the Middle East be what we see in Psalm 83?
Many have said that psalm 83 shows the elimination of the inner ring of terrorist, Hamas Hezbollah probably Stria, Lebanon, Jordan, that surround Israel. That what is taking place right now will end with a peace treaty and that Israel will then begin living in a false security even rebuilding of the Temple. But soon after we will see Ezekiel 38 begin. Hopefully we will not see it because we are Raptured out or taken out very close to the beginning of the conflict.
Right now the Tribulation can not start because scripture tells us Israel right before the tribulation will be living in a false security or peace. Then Ezekiel 38 will occur and a 7 year peace treaty will be signed. It is also possible that the 7 year peace treaty will be what ends what is presently going on in the Middle East.
If this is psalm 83 we should see a false peace, the Temple rebuilt and temple worship restarted, the Rapture, Ezekiel 38 and the Tribulation with the Anti Christ within 2-5 years. Many say the temple can be rebuilt in a very short period of time since all the stone are near by and ready to be placed. And the needed utensils, robes, incense, red heifer are all in place and ready to be moved into the Temple.
Any thoughts? Opinions?

Re: Psalm 83
Why does Psalm 83 have to precede the Millennium? Could it not refer to the Post-Millennial war?

Re: Psalm 83
I guess it could but then when does the battle in Ezekiel occur? If it occurs as I think before the tribulation I think all the nations mentioned in PS 83 would not have to be wiped out and therefore would not exist after the Millenium.

I am sorry I was not more clear. The war or battle described in Ezekiel 38 is what I was referring to.

In his notes on Ezekiel 38 indicate that Dake believed the Ezekiel 38 war occurs at the Second Coming, after the Tribulation.Bible Reader wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 8:59 amI am sorry I was not more clear. The war or battle described in Ezekiel 38 is what I was referring to.
Given that we are short 10 kings to even give power to the Beast, how can anything be said with certaintly concerning current events and the Battle of Armageddon?

Perhaps Eze 38 is talking of the battle of Armageddon, however I see the cleanup Eze. 39 after battle as precluding Jesus' presence on earth. Also the scene described in Eze. 38 does not match the battle scene described in Rev of the Battle of Armageddon.
I see the Battle described in Eze. 38 as the perfect setup to usher in the Antichrist to the world. The world will be so rocked from that battle that it will accept the leadership of anyone that can convince the world of world peace plan.
Again this is speculation on my part also since this the future with only glimpses revealed to us.

1. Why do you "see the cleanup Eze. 39 after battle as precluding Jesus' presence on earth"?Bible Reader wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2023 8:48 amPerhaps Eze 38 is talking of the battle of Armageddon, however I see the cleanup Eze. 39 after battle as precluding Jesus' presence on earth. 2. Why doesn't "the scene described in Eze. 38" match "the battle scene described in Rev of the Battle of Armageddon"?
3. If the battle of Ez. 38-39 precedes the rise of the Anti-Chrisst, wouldn't the filling with God's Spirit prevent the Israelites from accepting the Anti-Christ?
4. Is there anything that prevents the modern state of Israel from being wiped out and a new one forming at some point in the future?

1 if you read about the cleanup it does not sound like Jesus is present.Spiritblade Disciple wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2023 1:33 pm1. 2. In Eze there is no mention of Jesus nor the saints.
3. The Tribulation is for the Jew and many will be saved and martyred.
4. Absolutely nothing but if it would happen then most Eschotology as understood today would have to trashed and rewritten.

If you had to prove this from the Bible without using the portion of Daniel concerning the 70 weeks, could you?Bible Reader wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2023 7:31 pm3. Asking because many do not believe there's any justification for splitting the 70th week from the other 69. For example, see:
