Those that doubt Paul's writings are the word of God have nothing to base their faith on.
No wonder the letter to the Hebrews is attacked so wickedly.

It is the Revelation of Jesus Christ that was given to Paul - The Word of God!
So you are like the seven sons of Sceva? By the power of Jesus that Paul preached….
YES, but the difference is, devils know me!
Then there is more than what you answered

Very true!

It seems their faith is based in man or some council or some group of men!

To them Paul's words were NOT God's Word until some group of men "said" they were. Imagine people were hoping that Paul's writings were the Word of God in 200 AD with the Muratorian Canon. They became a little more convinced in the 5th century and then in 1611 they really became convinced.

They just should have believed Paul's own words: Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

No matter how much more there is or is not... Paul's words are still the Word of God, regardless of what you are me say about it.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

You are late to the party and missed the question. I don't know of anyone here denying that Paul's letters are considered as Scripture.

The original question is did Paul realize they were going to be scripture at the moment he wrote them.

Bibleman says undoubtedly, but. in his defense he has put himself it an awkward position. He, Bibleman used 2 passages, one in 1 Thes and the other in Gal.

What I have pointed out to him and what he has acknowledged, is that the same things said in those passages about how people received Paul's message can be made by those in Bibleman's congregation on Sunday. Therefore if those statements elevate Paul's letters to the level of scripture then the same statements made about Bibleman's preaching would do the same thing.

However, Bibleman will not acknowledge this logical sequence because in doing so, he realizes he defeats his own position.

Again, that is not the point of the discussion, if you desire to frame it this way, I can say I have not denied that Paul's works are Scripture. But, this does not answer the question did he considered them to be authoritative scripture as he wrote them. Two different things.

Your reply, or avoidance and dodge of a reply, shows that you realize the fallacy of your original defense and are not twisting to find a way of escape. Remember you have acknowledged you feel the same way about your sermons. People receive it as the word of God, not the word of men. They receive it as truth and it works effectually within them that believe.

Do you view your entire message as Scripture? A simple YES or NO is all that is necessary, any more shows your desire to avoid the question because you know the final conclusion and do not want to admit it.

WHAT? What are you smoking?

No I never have said that: "the same things said in those passages about how people received Paul's message can be made by those in Bibleman's congregation on Sunday. Therefore if those statements elevate Paul's letters to the level of scripture then the same statements made about Bibleman's preaching would do the same thing."

NEVER have I equated my words to that of Paul's.

Not one time.

YES Paul did consider his words Scripture at the time he wrote them. Here is why:

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

NO, I do NOT view any of my message as Scripture.

BUT the Scripture I quote or read... now of course that is Scripture.

Oh, so you only preach a word you get from man, it is devoid of power, and does not effectively work in the life of a believer.

I am sorry I misunderstood you.
