So, do you believe your sermon on Sunday contains the Word of God? Realistically, could one say something very similar to the above passages about your sermons? Or are your messages purely received from man, lacking the power of the Holy Spirit to transform peoples hearts and minds? Is nothing you say from a revelation that God gave you about His Word? Do you not give people the word of God which effectually works within them?bibleman wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 7:03 pm
Well if he wrote a letter to the Roman government asking for an exception, for his chariot tag license for being tax exempt...
I don't guess that was Scripture.
But I don't think Paul was talking about his tax exemption when he wrote the following:
1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Please tell us?
And if you do preach with power, and a word received from God, not man, that works within the hearts of people to effectively transform them that believe. Then do you claim your teaching is equal to Holy Scripture?
