For any type of "flat earth" to work, the laws of physics would have to be constantly changing to keep things in balance. Now, is God capable of doing that? On the "God would deceive" part.... Young Earth Creationist believe that, however they will not admit it.

So do "old earther's" --- how old was Adam and for that case Eve, on the day they were created? How old did they appear? When God spoke to his creation and said for it to bring forth life, were those forms fully developed? Was the chicken created before the egg, or vice-versa?

How would that be deception?

In the same manner as creating a "Young Earth" and making it appear old. I admit it is on a different scale, but the principle is the same.

If you will look up all the time periods as given in Scripture you will find the time from Adam until now to be at least 6,200 years plus.... NO appearance to that it is all facts as recorded in Scripture. See God's Plan for Man for the Length of the difference dispensations.
