Two questions about Lucifer his creation and his fall

Post by bibleman »

Two questions:

1) What "day" was Lucifer created on?

2) When did Lucifer fall from heaven?

Ezekiel 28:15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. (NKJV)

Isaiah 14:12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!
13 For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ (NKJV)

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

I believe God created the heavens and the earth and then the angels including Lucifer. He gave Lucifer rule of the earth, he rebelled then God destroyed the earth, turned it upside down. Who knows when God restored the earth to make it habitable for man, Adam and Eve.

I agree! Just wondering where those who do NOT understand the Pre-Adamite world.... would put the fall of Lucifer and on what "day" they would have him falling.
I have found that things not written of in scripture are not important to a life without sin.
Well I don't know... I have found the more accurate our understanding of Scripture is the greater trust we will have in the things of God, as well as knowing how to overcome the evil one.

I mean think about it... We are in a daily battle against Lucifer... and to know who he is and how he works along with his strategies against us... well just easier to mount our defenses against him.

2 Corinthians 2:11 lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices. (NKJV)

Do you mean devices like being drawn away into discussions about the unprovable?

Not really. The unprovable is only unprovable because of the lack of knowledge.

That is the key..."of scripture"...not "what ifs".

I believe God, some time in the dateless past created the heavens and the earth and then the angels including Lucifer to inhabit them.

God gave Lucifer rule of the earth, and some time during his reign Lucifer and one third of the angels rebelled.

God in His anger destroyed the earth, turned it upside down.

Who knows how long God left the Earth without form, and void, and darkness upon the face of the deep.

About 6,000 years ago, God restored the earth to make it habitable for man, Adam and Eve.

Yeah I think that is about it! Good sound Bible theology.
