There are several churches like that. It could be argued that my local church has long been one of the most (if not THE most) integrated churches in the world.
But, can it work out amongst the worldlings?

We need Jesus to return now and take over running this planet properly, because His so-called representatives are nuttier than ever.
Man has proved himself inconsistent when the power of God is manifested through him.
Jesus's pick Paul being the great example to all that followed.
Empire builders are not wanted, full stop.
