The New Spirit Filled Life Bible NIV "Do you rulers indeed speak justly?Do you judge people with equity? No in your heart you devise injustice, and your hands mete out violence on the earth." Refers to rulers.
Dr.Ryrie and John MacArthur SB say it refers to unjust leaders. As does the King James Study Bible.
The Apostolic Study Bible published by the United Pentecostal Church International in 2014 has a bunch of notes on Psalm 58.
Hmmm. They must be commenting on a different text. In the King James, the psalm is clearly addressed to the congregation. Not just the rulership.
At the beginning of Psalm 58 in the King James Version, the Psalmist wrote:Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?

Acts 10:42-43 King James Version
"And He commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is He which was ordained of God to be the Judge of Quick and Dead. To Him give all the Prophets witness, that through His Name WHOSEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHALL RECEIVE REMISSION OF SINS."

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

When one Bible says one thing and another says another, how do you know which is right?

Do the bibles themselves show that or does that come from commentaries or notes? If it is comments or notes, they should be taken as such, but if it is bible clearly disagreeing in text that would present a challenge.

Roger,

I looked at various translations ,the commentators and

not one supports the theories and notions you are expounding .

It's no "theory" that the it is addressed to the "congregation" in the King James.
