They teach exactly as I teach.Why not read verse 18, 19, 20, and 21 and try to understand what the context of what is being taught there. You might realize those verses are teaching the opposite to what you are implying.
Baptism saves us by our immersion into the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.
Baptism is how and where the old man of the flesh is killed, buried, and raised with Christ to walk in newness of life. (Rom 6:3-6)
