The Blood

Post by macca »

For the life of the body is in the blood.
The life of the body of Christ is the Blood of Jesus.
Without the Blood of Jesus there is no life for us.
If we live in the light as God is in the light
We have fellowship with one another
And the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

That fellowship is with every child of God on this earth.
Not just your little bunch or those that dress like you or say the right words like you do.

We are all in the same body.

Sure do and often....
Rev 12:10-11; for the accuser of the brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Not enough preaching and teaching on the Blood of the Lamb of God.
Not enough singing and worship about the Blood of the Lamb of God.
It scares the Devil and his demons spitless.

For what intent?
What is the purpose of calling on the blood of Christ?

I notice you have changed the description from Plead to call?
I like to remind myself and satan of all that Jesus won for mankind through His shed Blood, when I pray and thank God for all He has done for us at the death, burial and resurrection.
Its the Blood of the New Covenant and its been ratified in Heaven itself by Jesus the head of the Church of which I belong.
Every thing that belongs to the Body of Christ belongs to me for I am in the Body.

I could go on for hours with this...

Though I see no big difference between "plead" and "call", your answer was sufficient for my question.
I guess we can "plead" the crucifixion or the resurrection for the same purpose.
It just sounded odd to me.
