My personal favorite is the New King James. It is quite close to the original King James with greater readability, especially in the Old Testament. I use a Nelson for that one but would prefer the Dake NKJ if the layout had at least 10 point type (8 or 9 point notes are ok) and a layout similar to the DAKE KJV.

I read the KJV in the evenings.

For study, I utilize all translations I have (NKJV, KJV, ESV, NASB, NIV84 and Latin Vulgate plus PC Study Bible Greek and Hebrew helps.

Sounds like you are set up pretty well.

I use to use PC Study Bible several years ago and still have it now. It was a very good program. In fact they were one of the first companies to add the Dake notes.
