Tithers are Better Off!

Post by bibleman »

Malachi 3:10 - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Thank God my Dad taught me to tithe on the very first dollar I ever made.

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

That is an awesome chart.Very revealing.

If one is rich as Bill Gates or poor as Job's Turkey ....tithing is still a supreme blessing .A wonderful act of worship to God the Father for giving the Lord Jesus Christ with his glorious plan of salvation and wonderful "full benefits of the Gospel for body, soul and spirit."
Reverend Finis Jennings Dake was the scholar who by his study (and the Holy Spirit) revealed to the Body of Christ the Laws of Prosperity.
Only Eternity will reveal Millions and millions of souls have been brought to Christ because of the appropriation of his teachings in BTU,GPFM,DARB etc.Because money is needed here on the Earth to reach the world and help others. And of course God "how much more's" His children...Matthew 7:11.

Hi Ray,

No my friend you have it backwards... Tithers are Better Off BECAUSE they tithe and are blessed by God, thus their ability is from God!

Non-tithers are worse off because they are under the curse.

Is it tithers that are better off or people that freely give what God has instructed them to give, that are better off.

I believe you can be a selfish tither and never be better off. I have seen people so legalistic that they would give a half a penny if they could. And I have seen others empty their pockets not worrying if it is this much or that much.

I don't believe in tithing but I believe you should give and 10% is an excellent starting place. But because I always give at least 10% does not mean I'm a tither it means I have learned steward ship taught by Jesus not Moses.

Hi Ed,

TITHERS are better off because the tithe.

The windows are open to the tither - NOT the giver!

Malachi 3:10 - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

So if you want to be blessed you should start tithing!

What about that statement doesn't make sense to me?

I refuse to put myself under the law that stipulates a tithe of 10% has to be paid to consecrated priest.

First Jesus freed me from the law and secondly I know of no consecrated priest to give my tithe to. So I can't tithe.

However I can and do, do as Abraham did when he paid honor and tribute to Melchizedek with at least a10% of the percentage of his earned riches.

The 10% number is strictly arbitary starting point for Christians giving.

The point is I give freely not because some pastor tries to put me back under the Old Testament system of paying tithes to priest, which can't be done according to scripture.

Even the Jews know they can't fulfill the Old Testament admonishment to pay a tithe they have no one to give it to.
