In Copelands book on John G Lake page 245 in the chapter 'adventures in God'

While preaching in a church in South Africa, an American lady, whose son lived in the state of Iowa, was present in a week night service. Before the service began she called me into the vestry and told me that she had just received a letter from her daughter in law, stating her husband, a college professor, had apparently passed into a decline. He appeared to be tubercular. He had to give up his position. He was in a condition of great weakness and he was nearing death.

I returned to the audience room, and as we were about to pray I stepped to the end of the platform and asked the lady to hand me the letter. Taking it in my hands I knelt to pray, I invited all present to join me in faith for the man's deliverance. My spirit seemed to ascend to God and I was lost to all consciousness. Presently I stood in the home of the young man in Iowa, about 10,000 miles from Johannesburg. The man sat by a hard coal heater, with a little boy on his lap. I observed him critically and remarked to myself, Though your face is hard and shows no evidence of soul development or spiritual life, yet your affection for your son is a redeeming quality. His wife sat on the opposite side of the table reading a magazine. Observing her I remarked to myself, When he got you he got a Tartar.

I stood behind his chair and laying my hands on his head silently prayed God to impart to him His healing virtue and mAke the man well, that he might bless the world and that his mother's heart be comforted.

In this case there was no knowledge of my return, beyond that in a moment I became aware that I was kneeling on my church platform, had been uttering audible prayer, and that the Spirit of God was resting deeply upon the people.

Some 6 weeks later word was received that the young man was again quite well. His recovery began on a certain date, corresponding exactly with the day on which prayer was offered.

The apostle Paul was in the third heaven, but he was away from
his body which wa quite alive else he would not have written
it in the scriptures.

This is associated with time travel, also which wizards do thru
the power of Satan. We can thru the Spirit have vision of us
being elsewhere, but it may be not that we actually leave our
body. However it can be that this would be possible.
Now there are dreams that are so real, you actually wake up
and believe the dream was so real it was as though it was real
and this is a dream from God as would be a vision.

I would not way it is not possible to be out of body.
It is really hard to differentiate being somewhere if a Godly
dream or vision, so real, unlike the normal draems of the
mind. to know if you're out of body or it is a revelation
of The Spirit. Often a dream, of God, is so real you would
have no way to tell from your perspective if you were out of body
but it would likely be a dream so real it appears you were out of body.
I too had one dream so real, that I was not viwing myself in the
dream, but was in my body, walking about the house and the
phone rang and my neice told me something, but in actuality
my neice had not called. This was to tell me something
in the future that did happen a month or two prior.
Thus had my neice confirmed she called me, then it would
have been I was out of body, but it was not, therfore
lke you work, had you evidence of your work on that day
when you went to work, it would have been out of body,
but if not, then it was a dream from God had it any
revelation, thus otherwise it would have been of the mind.
I do not know of any research where believers were actually
out of body, i.e. as time travel.
Generally, one may see a type of image of a wizard out of body,
but not in the flesh. You can see under the direction of The Spirit,
angels, as quoted 'you have seen angels anawares" and you can
also soo angelic beings, demonic beings, but under what I think
of having the veil of the supernatural lifted so you can see them.
This is of course possible via The Holy Spirit of which it is not
our perrogative to do on our own as do wizards seek Satan
to do so. I.E. We are led of the Spirit not seeking out
nor initiating spirital ability aside from The Spirit which
direct at His option what occurs.
